The Joboshare DVD to iPod Converter is a very powerful DVD to iPod Converter tool. It can rip DVDs to iPod MP4 (MPEG-4/H.264) and convert DVD audio to iPod music MP3, WAV, M4A (MPEG-4 audio) files. Adjust your DVD conversions by selecting DVD chapters/titles, trimming movie lengths, cropping videos, or choosing subtitles and audio tracks.
The Joboshare iPod Video Converter converts any video from Windows Media Player (WMV), Real Player (RM, RMVB), QuickTime (MOV), VCD (DAT), Youtube (FLV), AVI (DivX, XviD), etc to all iPod-friendly MP4 video formats. It also converts audio files to iPod-compatible formats: MP3, M4A, WAV.

Overall, the Joboshare iPod Mate is a top-notch choice to get all the movies and DVDs you want onto your iPod, quickly, easily, and with absolutely zero hassle.
All three wear the same clean layout and are so easy to navigate your pet hedgehog could do it (if only you would let him). The video converter has the full compliment of codecs and sizes for every possible iPod variation you could think of. Naturally the settings also include iPhone and Apple TV choices. The DVD converter has the exact same menu of devices, codecs and sizes for iPhone, iPod and Apple TV.
All conversions are fast and beautiful with results you’ll never be disappointed with. Note: MPEG-4 conversions are faster but H.264 conversions usually have smaller file sizes.
The Joboshare iPod Rip is not a conversion program but a sweet piece of software that handles your iPod, your iTunes, your computer and all the transfers between them. Plug in your iPod, open the iPod Rip and the rest is A-B-C. Adding movies to your iPod? Just choose, click and its done. Syncing your iPod music with your iTunes? A few mouse moves and its finished. In short, the iPod Rip is the go-between butler for your iPod, iTunes and computer (and iPhone if you have one).
The only downside to the Joboshare iPod Mate package is the video adjustment controls of the conversion programs - if you want to tweak your conversion with a little brightness or saturation, you’re out of luck because there are no such controls. Luminance is the only enhancement available. But this isn’t as bad as it sounds. Through all the conversions we did, we were always pleased with the final output - great color, full sound, flawless digital conversion. However, that old computer rule still applies: “garbage in, garbage out.” Your conversions will always look fantastic as long as you start with a good source.
